It's strange how you adjust to a place so easily.
I adjusted to spending a long time in various areas of Japan so quickly.
Surprised myself to be honest.
At first it was the heat, humidity, mosquitos, sleepless nights,
horrific late night trains that set me off.
But I definitely got used to it within the first week or, so.

Going back & seeing my friends
and, eating fantastic food again, drinking iced coffee in abundance, sitting reading

a great book in peaceful yoyogi park on a particularly sunny day.
Every single foot step I took, I remember. Everywhere I went. I remember.
It's like I've got it etched in my brain. April 2009 couldn't come any closer.
